52nd Bienniel North Dakota State Catholic Daughters of the Americas Convention - "Holy Spirit, Come Zoom With Us" May 1, 2021: (via Zoom)
The North Dakota Catholic Daughters held their 52nd Bienniel State CDA Convention on Saturday, May 1. Jean Gatz, writer and inspirational speaker was the keynote speaker. National Supervisor Nancy Bambenek, State Chaplain Fr. Frank Miller, and State Officers met in Belfield - Local Court members attended via Zoom.
Congratulations to Angela Scheett, member of Court Marquette #677, the new State Treasurer. Other officers installed are: State Regent Mary Baer, Ct. Our Lady of Perpetual Help #2148, Belfield; 1st Vice State Regent Deb Johnson, Ct. St. Ann #261 Fargo; 2nd Vice State Regent Sue Judd, Ct. St. Gerard #2518, Valley City; and State Secretary Rita Mastel, Ct. Immaculate Conception #322, Bismarck. Rev. Fr. Shane Campbell from Ct. Our Lady of Perpetual Help #2148, Belfield is the State Chaplain. Congratulations to all 2021-2023 State Officers and Chaplain.

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. CDA is a national organization in 45 states across the country and in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, Kenya and Peru.
CDA provides local spirituality, sharing and activity under the support of a vibrant national organization. Members donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.
CDA's patroness is the Blessed Mother, and under her guidance members are united by faith in Jesus Christ, in their devotion to the church and the Holy See.

State Project: FOCUS (2021-2023)
Women's Care Center (WCC) in Bismarck, Devils Lake and Fargo was voted the 2021-2023 State Project. Women's Care Center is a pro-life pregnancy resource center serving women in Fargo, Bismarck, Devils Lake and the surrounding areas. Their mission is to help pregnant women from our communities choos life for their babies, have healthier pregnancies, become better parents, and take first steps to self-sufficiency. They are a part of a larger network of centers that serves women in 11 different states. Women's Care Center provides care based on St. Benedict's theology of radical hospitality. They provide free and confidential pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasound, options conseling, parenting classes, goals program, community referrals, and material assistance through their store, Crib Club.
