MISSION STATEMENT

The Parish Health and Social Concerns Ministry at St. Mary's Church exists to provide support to its members in the areas of health and social concerns. This includes activities that promote physical, mental, and spiritual wellness as well as social challenges and life-changing events. This ministry is based upon the example of Jesus who included healing and caring in His ministry. 

The Parish Health and Social Concerns Ministry seeks to reflect God's love by promoting holistic Christian care within the congregation. It uses as a guide the words of St. Teresa of Avila: "Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours; yours are the eyes through which Christ's compassion looks out on the world; yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good, and yours are the hands with which He is to bless us now."
